Amidst the stormy seas of life, it is often challenging to discern the actual events that unfolded. However, when we carve out time for introspection, deliberately seeking truth, we gain a holistic perspective. This moment of revelation allows us to choose whether to stay the course we’re on or make the necessary adjustments to reclaim our intended path.
Mindfulness: Forgiveness serves as the gateway to present awareness and liberation from the burdens of the past. It involves cultivating the ability to forgive ourselves and others, reaping its numerous benefits. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the moment, devoid of judgment. It entails directing our attention to the present and attentively observing our thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. Taking Responsibility/Taking Action: If you have inflicted wounds upon another and have become conscious of or haunted by your actions, it is vital to make amends and make that person whole by seeking forgiveness. However, if the person lacks the capacity to forgive, do not burden your soul, for the act of forgiveness emanates from the power of the Creator. The benevolence and healing derived from forgiveness stem from a divine source, not the individual whom you may have harmed. Their readiness to heal lies beyond your control and remains a matter between them and our Creator. Release and surrender, allowing God to guide your steps. This liberation liberates your mind. If someone has wronged you, endeavor to forgive, but also shield yourself from potential future injustices they may inflict upon you by establishing strong boundaries: maintaining distance, standing firmly in your truth, and separating their actions from yours.
